At Traviata Books we specialise in republishing works, mainly from the 19th century, which have been unjustly forgotten - either completely, or because their authors are now remembered for only a small part of their output.

Our books are completely reset and well printed on good paper, with attractive covers and new introductions and notes. Unlike nearly all modern paperbacks (and many hardbacks, for that matter) they are sewn-bound in the traditional way rather than held together with glue.
